Groundbreaking in Slocan

Board members from the Society, Ruth Hackett, Sally Mackenzie, and Sam Simpson, and Village Mayor Lunn and Councillor Perriere welcome Mike Precious, Site Supervisor for North Mountain Construction on the new Affordable Housing Project in Slocan.  

Excavations began yesterday and there was a mood of celebration as this long anticipated project finally began.
